I want to feel this kind of love.
Damn, the world we live in is so cruel. Let me cry for a bit because I want to be loved this way.

Also, my eyes would just glaze over infos related to baseball. I don’t understand shit about it, I just knew Kai plays it.

Malakai, damn boy you got me.
I really like how the guy is not immature, like normally most of the male lead have anger management issues that should have been talked about, that we just as readers, we just accept those flaws and just considered it as acceptable, but in reality it is not. We are usually blind with those flaws.
Malakai, Kai, Ace he’s none of those. He’s so understanding, he love so fully without expecting it will be returned. The way he supported Miller, damn his love language is acts of service you know, and he listens and understood where she’s coming from, how her thoughts work, he knows and accepts her boundaries like where can I get a guy like him?
He knew from the start that she won’t be staying and he just accepted it, he’s so thankful to have experienced that Love, to have that Love.
“That’s the part that’s getting me through the dark days, the undeniable gratitude that I had her. Our time together is short, but it was everything”
“I hope you’re out there finding your joy because you’re the reason we found ours”
“If you ever decide to stop running and make a home… make it with me”
Like what a way to be so selflessly in Love.
He let her decide on her own, even though it would hurt him and he knows it would also hurt his son. He wasn’t bitter about it because he understood, he knows his woman and he accepts her for her and it was so fucking beautiful.
Max, Maxie, Bub is the cutest — sometimes some authors forgot the age of the kid they are writing about and make the kids act like adults already. I don’t see maxie, but I have already imagined pinching his chubby cheeks because he is written the way normal babies his book aged should be.
