maybe i have read enough books about autism by now, but i didn’t get much out of this. i do think it would be great to give to parents of late-diagnosed autistics, or those diagnosed at 50+. despite the author only being a decade older than me, the generational divide really stopped me from connecting with her reflections. and given this book is entirely about her experience rather than interspersed with research, i struggled.
