Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

3.0

A very interesting read that brings an awful lot together in one place.

There is, however, a very strong sense that the writer makes sweeping generalisations and ignores anything that doesn't fit with the overall narrative.

And to be honest, it's not at all clear what the core narrative of this book is. It's worth a read but it's the sort of book that you need to read around.

The final chapter or so of navel gazing for the future is, like much of the book, clever but muddled.
