The Last Coyote by Michael Connelly

I've got to stop reading these books. I've read four in the last week and I can't stop. They're addictive. I can hardly stop enough to eat two meals a day.

This one has Harry on forced leave after a run-in with his Lieutenant. So he decides to use the time to investigate the murder of his mother thirty-five years previously. As usual, there are lots of twists in the plot and some interesting secondary characters.
