Easily my favorite in the series. I love a tatted man. Another marriage of convenience between Dom and Val (King’s half-sister. Dom has (kind of noble) reasons for tricking her into marriage so I couldn’t even be mad with him. He treated Val like the prize she was, something she’d never experienced before. Dom gave her the family she always wanted and helped Val some past hurts.

Again - still don't know exactly what The Alliance does. I think while these books are entertaining, the author does a poor job at actually making the mafia stuff make sense.
