A Black Women's History of the United States by Daina Ramey Berry, Kali Nicole Gross

3.0

I really liked the research that went into this...I've been doing a lot of nonfiction reading to really get into black women's history and this was a great start.

I did want to see more in depth stories about black women figures. There were some very interesting people mentioned. I know that there were limitations, the book would have to be thousands of pages long to delve into every little thing. But some of the choices to be highlighted were a little questionable? Not exactly...black women?

Overall, very interesting and clearly a lot of work put in and good to start with.
