The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi

4.0

The ensemble of 6 young adult misfits as POV characters is a Thing now, and I enjoy that. Good banter and lovable, sympathetic characters make it work. I had trouble getting into the Lore despite it being historical fantasy but that may just be bc I read this mostly at work and wasn't paying enough attention, maybe not the book's fault. Definitely a good Aesthetic to all of it anyway. Just wish it was a standalone and I didn't have to commit to a series like I do with everything else, but I'll be glad to read the next one when it comes out.
