See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn

5.0

You guys, this story can only be described as epic. Arlo and Greer are exactly what I look for in a couple and Meghan did an AMAZING job of writing these two. I laughed so much throughout their story and I could not put it down.

Greer is a new English teacher at a highly ranked high school - fresh out of college and idealistic to a fault. Arlo, on the other hand, is the well established English teacher and department head with strong opinions how teaching methods. When these two collide - there are too many laughs to count. The pranks that are pulled are hilarious even when they are subtle and as someone that can be a bit "particular" about things in my own life I can only imagine how I would react. Eventually the attraction between these two boils over and we got to see some STEAMY scenes that were just right for this story.

I adore the side characters that Meghan builds into her stories and how she ties them all together. I was so happy to get to see some more from Gunner after high novella in Stories for September and Romeo gave those sweet single guy that wants more vibes throughout the story. I am so hopeful that we will get a story with Romeo and Stella in the future. My favorite character though - Keiko. Her personality, facts, and way of speaking added so much to this story.

I think my favorite part of this story though is the literary references throughout. It's nearly impossible to go wrong with Pride and Prejudice and how it ties into Arlo and Greer's story at the end created extreme levels of romantic swoon. Also, the Great Gatsby references (green light anyone??) throughout were perfectly placed and added so much to Arlo's character and understanding where he came from.

Overall this story was amazing and I highly recommend it. Check it out now and if you haven't read Gunner's story in the Stories of September go do it now before you miss out!
