This book is genuinely SO cute. The cuteness factor alone makes it deserving of 5 stars. It quickly made me feel nostalgic of the Sunday afternoons where my mom and I would have romcom movie marathons. There are so many fun nods to famous romcom movies, romance novels, and ultimate love songs. The premise: a hopeless romantic teen, Liz, tries to secure a prom date with her longtime crush, Michael. The "annoying" neighbor boy, Wes, agrees to help her. As Wes and Liz go off on their silly high school adventures, they realize there might be more between them than they thought. This is a sweet and sincere story with the most lovable characters. Can't wait for book #2 that comes out later this year!
