Gareth and Helen are fun characters and their love story is beautifully written. Gareth has been hurt by loss and doing everything over the past 6 years to never feel that pain again. He’s smart, strong, passionate and protecting his broken heart. Helen on the other hand, will do anything to protect her brother. She is compassionate, smart, sweet and wiser beyond her years.
This is a short, easy read, that is light and romantic. I enjoyed these characters and was pulling for their HEA. They are relatable and for a shorter story well developed. I just wish we had gotten more of their story, more of them and more of their HEA.
