The Ice Princess by Camilla Läckberg

4.0

I enjoyed the murder mystery part, but I really despised the romance aspect. At one point, the main character talks about staying away from writing thrillers/murder mysteries because they are missing the relationships and romance and life...so these were clearly the author's thoughts. I could have done without it. It reminded me of Robert Dugoni's Tracy Crosswhite series.

I was genuinely surprised by how everything turned out. I thought a different person was going to turn out to be the murderer, but everything ended up making sense. It had some suspenseful parts, and built up well to the ending. I'm going to give the second one a chance.
