I didn't find this to be life-changing as a good number of people seem to, but this was a unique and mostly entertaining, engaging reading experience. It helps that I love footnotes. This was maybe the most physical experience I've had reading a book: I had to turn my copy over, under and upside down – which also mirrors the narratives within. Don't be intimidated to give House of Leaves a try!
