this was not really a mystery, more like a drawn out description of a crime. we find out essentially what happens at the beginning of the story and then spend the rest of the novel being dragged along as another couple tries to hide their guilt. also, the "twist" at the end was visible a mile away and was the least bit surprising. don't understand the point of this book to be honest
