The Night Olivia Fell
by Christina McDonald
This book really surprised me. Part mother-daughter drama, part mystery thriller with some YA romance mixed in, it held my attention from beginning until end. And speaking of the end--- my eyes were definitely sweating at the end.
I can usually figure out the twist or bad guy in a mystery/thriller, but there were so many suspects in this book that I couldn't nail down who it was that was responsible for Olivia's fall. But when it became clear who it was, I realized that the clues had been given to us all along.
Interesting, multi-layered characters, an original premise, and some heartfelt moments make this book a fast-paced and fresh read.
Thank you Netgalley and publishers for an e-ARC in exchange for my honest review.
