The book is ok - pretty decent albeit kind of messy story, fairly interesting and somewhat faceted characters. But it reads like fanfiction; choppy, meandering, much internal and external dialogue, and short angsty semi-sentences to evoke emotion. And a few things just bugged me; like how hungry would you have to be to eat a friend? Why wouldn't you try harder to find food if that was the option you were down to considering? Also the word love gets thrown around like confetti. Or glitter in this case. Ha...
