Things I Wanted to Say, But Never Did
by Monica Murphy
Well.. This was a hell of a ride.
First of all I have to say, that I enjoyed this book 'til Whit said "she was asking for it by the way she dressed"
That made everything good fade away.
WHOEVER NEEDS TO HEAR IT..
YOU DON'T ASKED FOR IT JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR CLOTHES!
This whole relationship is more than just toxic.
I read after by Anna Todd and I thought Hardin is toxic. He is but compared to Whit he's a little lamb.
Sylvie disappointed me the most. She turned just like her mother. Something she never wanted.
I suspected that her mother would give me something that she is constantly sick and after it was confirmed I wanted to throw up.
I'm a mom myself. I have two little girls. I could never, NEVER do such thing to them.
All in all the whole Lancaster family is a really big mess and has problems over problems which I guess they never ever get rid of.
The writing was nice though. I like Monica Murphys style. But victim shaming ruined it all for me.
