Elizabeth Acevedo NEVER disappoints. With her latest book, she delivers a emotional beating of a story detailing two unknowing sisters who are brought together through the death of their father. This book really packed a punch, I found myself tearing up through almost every page. I don’t think there’s a subject matter that Acevedo can take on that she cannot conjure something absolutely stunning.
