I have read every book in this series so far and loved them. I have always loved Tex and I couldn't wait to hear him and Mo's story. Also, it's RVD and I love everything that she writes.

18 & over because of the violence and some adult situation. You need to have read every book in this series in order for everything to make sense. Heavy on the mafia plot-line, so you should probably enjoy Mafia stories.

I knew, I just knew that this was going to be my favorite book in the series so far and I was SO RIGHT!! I heart Tex so much, yes, even more than Nixon and Chase, which I didn't think was possible. He loves Mo with everything that he is and has and you can just feel it. I also really fell for Mo in this story too, she's pretty bad ass. Maybe not as bad ass as Mil is, but still, she's pretty kick ass.

This story will break your heart and then patch it right back up again, over and over. There are all kinds of plot twists and surprises that you NEVER SEE COMING. Only Rachel Van Dyken can write a violent, mafia story that will make you laugh as much as you want to cry and punch something. Yes, the story is heavy on mafia, but it also really endures you to each and every character. You'll wonder how people who do such heinous things are  just like you and me. She shows the human side of the mafia like I've never read from anyone else. Who knew mafioso were so hilarious?

There is a bit of sad in this story, but something that is necessary to the story. So I guess it's not really so bad but just something I wish didn't have to happen, even though I understand it was necessary. Also there is one thing that Tex did that upset me but if you've read the other books, you know what it is. Again, I understand it but I don't like it.

"So sugarplums? Santa? Unicorns? Sheep? Nah, that shit didn't fit in my dreams. It never had."
