really impressively paced- edge of my seat for finding out what would happen next. it struck me about halfway thru that the premise was kinda 'what if there were an autistic woman who didn't bow to the insane social pressure to fawn and back down in every single interaction' and it bummed me the fuck out because why should that be so groundbreaking. the misogyny throughout was p bleak- overcome, kinda, but hard to feel it as a lighthearted thing for sure.
