I have noticed a trend with several of the series I have read and cherished for years and that is I fear they have started to grow monotonous. These books are difficult to walk away from because I want to know what happens to certain characters, like Lucy. I want to see what trouble she finds herself in and what Kay must expose next. And while I am a creature of habit and will more than likely keep coming back for more I find each new novel provides less suspense and thrill.
