We are dropped in the middle of our FMC being kidnapped by the enemy nation after a God (basically) kills her parents. The enemy nation offers an alliance to take on the big bad. It doesn’t hurt that the prince she’s forced to work with a hot.

I liked this book, just a strong like. Will read the next book but I didn’t have a WOW moment. The middle pacing and the climax with its fake out twists keep this book at a solid low 4 ⭐️
