Forever Pucked
by Helena Hunting
I can't get enough of this series. This fourth installment takes us back to visit the first couple of the series, Alex and Violet, who are now planning their wedding. Violet and her lack of filter are back with a vengeance and it's glorious. Aside from the tears of laughter, this book brought on the waterworks for real. There is a serious accident in this book and seeing it from the point of all the characters involved is heartbreaking.
What I loved most about this book though, is that while the POVs switch between Violet and Alex, there is really more of an ensemble cast. Sunny and Miller (Book 2) have a major announcement, Lily & Randy (Book 3) have plenty of screen time, there are a few surprising revelations about Lance (who will lead Book 5), and there are some intriguing insights into what might be happening with Charlene and Darren (who are supposedly getting their own book sometime next year). I think the parts when they're all together or in big groups (there's lots of girl time and guy time in this book) are some of the best scenes in this book.
