In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead

2.5

The story is well-paced, and has good transitions between the past and present chapters. While it's structurally sound, I did however find some of the twists to be pretty obvious.

Also, the entire cast is super unlikeable, which I didn't really mind, but it did make me question why these people would even be friends with each other. Their dynamic was toxic and competitive, consumed with trying to best one another.
