So if you’ve ever thought you just need to see a Frozen x ATLA crossover you’ve come to the right place.
Great vibes, liked the magic system, enjoyed the characters.
I hoped for a bit more sibling interaction in this but I enjoyed especially Rens and Blaze‘s interactions.
Quick read, definitely enjoyed my time.
I also liked Hal and Fox really grew on me.
The romance plotline took a turn I didn’t quite anticipate but still liked.
The plot withthe eyes was partly surprising and partly predictable in all the good ways.
I didn’t anticipateFox to have an eye per say but I wasn’t surprised either. Though I did think it would be the eye of the future and not the past one, based off on how he kinda always knew where Blaze was and everything?
The „villain“ plotline/reveal was nicely teasered and didn’t feel like a reveal for shock value, so that was good.
The ending though? Not the biggest fan. Though I did like that theportal Queen Hydra showed Blaze was used, which i anticipated already but definitely in a different way. It felt very Clary (Shadowhunters)hiding that cup in the tarot card.
I was not happy aboutEmber winning. That scene especially reminded me of the last Agni Kai in ATLA. If you’ve read it, you’ll know what I mean.
I’m definitely interested in reading the next instalment.
