For most of this book, I enjoyed this more than the first one (which is really saying something because I loved that one) The different time lines didn’t bother me as it helped show how Alex and King got to where they were in the present day though there were a few instances I had to check I had my timeline right. This book also  seemed to better balance the relationship and action and I felt more invested in the characters. The ending felt like it wrapped up a shade too quickly though and seriously,

how mean was that last tiny little cliff hanger :D

Good fun and I hope there is more to come.
