Its so hard to review this book knowing it's the last one in the series that will be focused in lakeside.
The Others to me IS SIMON AND MEG and the thought of new different characters makes me feel so upset:(
I love Vlad, Tess, Henry, Sam, Blair, Nathan, Skippy, Grandfather Erebus, Nyx, Jenni, Starr, Jake, Winter and basically everyone in the lakeside courtyard and theirs no room in my heart for anyone new or different.
Also the cassandra sangue are such an important part of the story for me I can't imagine a book without them. I want to know more about Jean and Hope and I'd like a better outcome for the others out there that are still not safe.
Meg still hasn't finished the prophecy card deck for them and hasn't fulfilled her role as the trailblazer.
I think there's plenty more to explore for the other characters to, in particular Vlad and Tess and Sam.
The humans don't interest me at all and when the Elders are trying to decide how many to keep I'm thinking none! It's The Others vs the humans and always will be for me.
I still have hope that there will be more for Simon and Meg and The Others in Lakeside. I hope Simon and Meg will have prophet puppy's :O
but if this is the end it was beautiful.
