I have a complicated relationship with this book. It is the most interesting listening experience I’ve had. It felt extremely overwhelming, but also fascinating. I can’t tell if I like it or not, but I’m drawn to it. It made me feel everything and nothing. It was an exhausting read, but not in a bad way, it just felt like a LOT. I struggle with Neil Gaiman’s writing style, but this, surprisingly, felt like one of the most accessible of his books to me. I think it might have been my favorite so far, but again, this book was everything and nothing and my feelings are very complicated.
