The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow

3.0

Compelling in moments - especially when exploring the worldview of a protagonist who's so much a racial outsider in America that she's unworldly, literally. Unfortunately, the interesting portions were stymied by predictability, slow pacing, and unconvincing accents on the part of the narrator (has she never heard an Italian?)
