I first noticed this series on a bookstore display table where the cover of [b:Raspberry Danish Murder|35277384|Raspberry Danish Murder (Hannah Swensen, #22)|Joanne Fluke|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1496289253s/35277384.jpg|56637964] caught my attention. It looked delicious. Discovering that it was volume #22, I thought I'd start with volume 1 because it's title sounded pretty tasty, too. I was not disappointed.
This is a cozy, entertaining murder mystery centered in small town Minnesota bakery. The story moves at a good pace and the characters are likable with plenty of backstory to keep things interesting as Hannah, the baker, generously shares her delicious cookies with grateful recipients while gathering clues to help solve the mystery. To top it off, she also shares her original recipes with the reader! I think I'll be trying out the Lemon Bars first!
