I am so mad. I cannot fathom this. HOW COULD HE DO THAT TO HER. When it was a hypothetical, of course he said he wouldn’t and then the moment the opportunity was in front of him he gave her up for his fucking throne. Typical man behavior. Honestly, I hope Maven gets a redemption arc and she ends up with him. Cal sucks, and I WAS JUST STARTING TO LIKE HIM. Since Cal and Mare’s relationship doesn’t feel as developed as Maven and Mare I truly hope she ends up with Maven and no one is king and they all live happily ever after. I mean, if a man kept me prisoner because he couldn’t kill me I would fold. His mother literally couldn’t remove the parts of his brain that loves Mare. #teammaven
