The cover caught my eye and this book was...not what I was expecting. Whilst there were times I wasn't comfortable with a scene or two, for the most part I really enjoyed this book. However this is a super dark book and the series will no doubt continue to be dark.
I really enjoyed meeting the Torpedo Ink group and some of my favourite scenes are when all of them are together teasing each other good naturedly. I will say that I'm not a huge fan of how dominant Reaper (and all the men in Torpedo Ink) is and the phrasing of "my woman" continues to rub me the wrong way.
Despite these things, I really loved getting to meet the gang, and falling into this world. I can't wait to learn more about each of the club members, their stories and who they fall for.
