The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks
5.0

Ninety-one-year-old Ira Levinson is in trouble. Struggling to stay conscious after a car crash, with his mind fading, an image of his adored - and long-dead - wife Ruth appears. Urging him to hang on, she lovingly recounts the joys and sorrows of their life together - how they met, the dark days of WWII and its unrelenting effect on their families.

A few miles away, college student Sophia Danko's life is about to change.

Ira and Ruth. Sophia and Luke. Two couples, separated by years and experience, whose lives are about to converge in the most unexpected - and shocking - of ways.

My thoughts:

Heart warming, tearful, loving and heartbreaking- this is how I could name this book just in few words.

As soon as I picked this book, it took me less than a half day to read it and in some ways I hate it, as it was way shorter ride in my life…

The Longest ride is the book you immediately start enjoying and you just don’t want to put down, both Iras and Ruths and Sophias and Luke love stories is something you secretly want to experience yourself : from first sight love to adventures in their lives and passion they endure every step of being together.

Though I loved book and I loved the movie, I can tell that I was a bit disappointed in the way of how much they we’re different, I would have loved if in both movie and the book both adaptations would be mixed. Some peace probably knows what I mean.

Overall- I LOVED IT!!!
