Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
emotional
hopeful
reflective
fast-paced
This is a sweet coming of age story. While technically it falls into the friends to lovers romance genre, it's more about Ari coming to terms with who he is and where he's come from, and working through his past family trauma while also going through the ups and downs of his relationship with his (only?) friend Dante.
It's not a perfect book, there are a few moments that feels a bit clunky and others that feels like they could have used more room to breathe, but it was an easy read and overall enjoyable experience.
