I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
POV: dual 1st person POV
spice: several open-door spicy scenes
TWs: cheating, divorce, slut shaming, narcissism, homophobia, death of a parent (recounted)
standalone: book 1 of The Thirst Trap series
final thoughts: this was such a cute, quick, and spicy read. I love the friends-to-lovers and neighbors-to-lovers tropes with all the angst and pining. I loved the meet-cute between two of the MCs, the female friendships, the sweetness of Tom, and the angst that Jack brings.
The characters are later in life which takes away most of the will-they-won’t-they love triangle drama, but adds new twists with workplace needs and nerves from past relationships.
