This book should be mandatory reading for all people before and during parenthood. No matter sex your child is assigned at birth. Informative, well researched and threaded with real life stories for context, it made me mad that I didn’t know this stuff when I was a girl, and later when I became a parent. However, it’s never too late to learn about how patriarchy oppresses girls, women and parents.
