This was a super cool world, but the end was really giving netflix production that has been cancelled and needs wrapped up in a post-production.

The ultimate climax would have been

her ousting Satoshi, and instead of that spanning a whole book two or even a few chapters, it’s a throwaway line

Also, where are all those boys sent away by the animal wives who are half yokai?? Surely we were leading up to using them as an army who can withstand the priest’s chanting ??

Overall, a good story that was totally rushed at the end.
