yojimbo 's review for:
Fire & Blood
by George R.R. Martin
It's hard to believe Martin is spending time writing these snooze-fests instead of finishing the main work. There is nothing here that feels like his otherwise addictive and engaging writing style, full of interesting characters and intricate plots. They're pure history books about a not very interesting bit of pre A Song of Ice and Fire history, quick summaries of events with very little depth. Mushroom's observations are the only things injecting a bit of life into it. Other than that, it's a complete waste of time
