Inside Broadmoor: Up Close and Personal with Britain's Most Dangerous Criminals by Emma French, Jonathan Levi

3.0

I have to say this book was a surprise. I didn’t think I would enjoy it one bit but it really opened my eyes to a history I knew nothing about. I’m ashamed to say that before this book I had not even heard of Broadmoor hospital but now I do. I can see, however, why there are such polarising views over this book. I can see why people got annoyed at the repetition of facts. This is why my rating is 3/5 stars. I think if the authors had stopped trying to jam random facts about the infamous residents and then kept on reiterating the same thing over and over again then it may have been more enjoyable. Overall, better than expected and a must read if you are fascinated by the human psyche.
