Okay hello! Murderbot is far too iconic. This is such a fun series, even though fun might not be the right word to describe a Murderbot..?

Listen, it's super entertaining with sass and anxiety that is so human-like and quite relatable, if I dare say so. I relate to it's feelings regarding socialization and the sense of not knowing what to do with your life so fucking hard it's unbelievable.
At first I was a bit confused, because there was a lot of info to take in, but at some point I was straight up vibing with the story. No doubt, this is one of the more amusing books that are comforting in a way. So imagine my surprise and joy when I found more stories in this series! The books are more on the shorter side, but they don't feel fast paced at all - there's a perfect balance. Besides, I finished it in a day, so I was rather happy!

I could have become a mass murderer after I hacked my governor module, but then I realized I could access the combined feed of entertainment channels carried on the company satellites. It had been well over 35,000 hours or so since then, with still not much murdering, but probably, I don't know, a little under 35,000 hours of movies, serials, books, plays, and music consumed. As a heartless killing machine, I was a terrible failure.
