Mother of Invention: How Good Ideas Get Ignored in an Economy Built for Men by Katrine Marçal

4.0

I expected this to be very similar to [b:Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men|41104077|Invisible Women Data Bias in a World Designed for Men|Caroline Criado Pérez|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1617113740l/41104077._SY75_.jpg|64218580] but it was quite different and complementary. Where Invisible Women looks at things that exist and shows how they aren't made for women, Mother of Invention is more about the gaps - the things that are missing because the feminine is viewed as less valuable. As always, preaching to the converted and a little depressing, but very interesting.
