I love it when I randomly pick up a book and it ends up making me so happy by the end. I didn’t know this author before, but now I’m sold—her writing is amazing! It’s fun, engaging, and has this perfect balance that I really enjoyed. Definitely planning to read more of her books soon.
This one is an age-gap romance between Maximo, a powerful businessman, and Juliet, who’s had to fight her way through life because of her father’s gambling addiction. Juliet is tough and independent, but Maximo? Oh, he’s the ultimate protective but extra possessive guy 🤭 (I won’t say too much about him—you’ll just have to read it). Their dynamic is so captivating throughout the book.
It’s a beautiful slow burn, and let me just say—it’s spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5. But honestly, no complaints here 🫣. It’s also super emotional at times 😭, but it’s absolutely worth it!
