This is my first ARC of the year and my first time reading a book written by AB Cynthe & Aimee-Jo Hunter and I am not exaggerating when I say I could not put this book down!

70’s horror, stripper club themes, drug dealers, touch her and die vibes, a three-way relationship, angel and devils… This book is incredible.

I originally saw the sign up to this ARC on my bookstagram and the popping colours of the book cover caught my attention straight away. Even the blurb captivated me and I couldn’t jump fast when signing up.

This is a short novella story of 50k ish words, styled in the era of the groovy 70’s. This whole book is written in a fast pace dynamic, though it keeps you well informed and intrigued throughout the book, with spicy as hell smut scenes that had me begging for more.

What I love most about this book is how unhinged it really is. When you get in the middle of the book, you start to uncover the real version of Dottie, our FMC, who is psychotic and almost perfect to me in every way. She captivates the attention of Kat and Dante, our other two main characters, in such a way that they can never let her go. The things that Dottie does with a small baby blade had me laughing in stitches, had me rooting for her when she released all her anger out on her abusive ex, and thoroughly had me enjoying the book more than what I expected I would.

And the tropes and themes of this book… the kinks… I ate them all up. In fact… I want more.

This book is an easy read and definitely one to get someone out of a reading slump. I know I will frequently be coming back to this book to read in between other books as I love this book so much.

Everything about this book is wonderful and funny and so dark and unhinged.

From reading Disco Fever, I am definitely going to be reading other books written by these two authors.
