Kill Anything That Moves: The Real American War in Vietnam by Nick Turse

challenging dark informative fast-paced

4.75

This is an incredible, gold standard work of investigative journalism, evidenced by the massive reference list and extended period of time and care taken to write it. It cannot be overemphasised that this is not a book to read if you're not in the right headspace. It is tragic, rage inducing, and sickening. That said, I think it's incredibly important for everyone to confront the darkest chapters of human history; and that starts by informing yourself of the scope and depth of those chapters.
