My Body by Emily Ratajkowski

emotional informative inspiring reflective sad fast-paced

4.25

Such a beautiful book recalling the horrible accounts of what Emily has experience in her life as a famous model. If any of those things happened to me, especially from people of such high status and influence in Hollywood, I don't think I would have had the bravery to out them all, so props to her for having such admirable courage. Being an ordinary teenager who is very much not famous, I cant relate to a lot in this book, but it helped me understand the people who unfortunately can.

Also, as this book is written in short essay form (each chapter is an essay) and slightly larger fonts, I found it faced paced and easy to read which is important if you're like me and struggle a bit more to continue non-fiction books. But with that being said, she could have printed it in size 6 font, all on a singular scroll, and I probably would have enjoyed it just as much!
