Pentacles by Sabarna Roy

4.0

Pentacles include one short story and four poems in free verse.

The story talks about an adult whose mother left the family years ago for another person. It talks about his angst and resentment when his mother left him.

There are four poems with titles and each of them has been crafted very well with a meaningful story.

The story narrates a fabrication of the erratic nature of life and the poem deals with love, loss and life.

The book is very short but gives out the reader a lot to think about. The book is full of relatable quotes. The title itself is very thought-provoking. I highly recommend it, it deserves a read.
