Well I have absolutely fucking loved this book. I absolutely adored little Isabella, I just wanted to squeeze her every time she was on page. Our MCs are just perfect for each other, they balance and work out so well, the way they bring out these new sides to each other and encourage each other to be their bests was just so inspiring. Charlotte is such a strong woman and has been through so much in life, just watching to explore the true her and what she wanted in life was so awe-inspiring, I was literally smiling so much for her. Charlotte is described as a warrior, and she is, but I think the best way to describe her is as a mother bear because that woman will do absolutely anything to protect that child and the people that she loves. Declan is on his own level, watching him get to explore and open up to this new side of life and watching him come fully into his role, as not just a leader but also an individual, was, honestly, really entertaining. He is such the perfect sick match to Charlotte, especially with his encouragement towards the end there. I do think these characters had the perfect ending for them and it wrapped it up really nicely, but I do also look forward to little snippets of them in the rest of the series. The side characters provided moments of perfect comedic relief and the perfect of times, I would literally burst out laughing multiple times. The whole plot in and of itself was really interesting and I can’t wait to watch more of it play out and all the new layers that are going to be added to it.
