The Only One by Daisy Jane

5.0

The Only One is now my favorite Wrench King novel! Miller is definitely a catch, and I already knew I was going to like his character but like Delane I fell in love with him.

Miller left his family on the commune when he was only 18 years old and never looked back. Because of his life in that community, he missed out on a lot of firsts. And I mean ALOT, stuff we take advantage of. Because of all this he became shy and lacked confidence in himself.

Delane is someone I can see being best friends with. She has no filter, loves audiobooks (especially the erotic kind) and is comfortable with who she is. Her main goal right now is to become a mechanic and she knows the perfect way how.

Delane comes up with an agreement that she knows Miller can't turn down. She will help him become more confident with woman and himself and in return he will teach her how to be a mechanic. This is the perfect plan for each of them until they both finally admit to themselves that they are falling in love with each other. But will this secret help or destroy them?

The Only One is heartfelt, spicy and just overall amazing. I love how Miller grew into his confident self. Something he had all along but just needed a little push. He really is a dream guy, even with his shyness and confidence issue he's still perfect in my eyes. Not only is he a gentleman that cares unbelievably but he loves to read which is always a bonus. He's also a Big Brother (the sponsor program) to Zeth, which is the most heartfelt thing. Because kids in that program need someone and Miller is the most selfless person possible!

Thank you so much Daisy Jane for an ARC copy of The Only One! I love this series and it's been an honor to watch it grow. I would love a spin off novella of Zeth and Mara though!!
