I'm a huge sucker for lesbian sports romances, but this one was such a pleasant surprise! The Clinch follows Eden, the reigning heavyweight mma champion, who is forced to go up against her rival, new on the scene Brooklyn, who is determined to win her title from her. I'm not normally a fan of enemies-to-lovers or even rivals-to-lovers, but this one was so much fun, and I think the sports element played a part in that. I really loved all the characters and how fleshed out they were and the romance was so good! Even though I know absolutely nothing about martial arts in any way, shape or form, I never once felt out of my depth! I highly recommend this one!
