An absolute must-read. Yes, I'm going there, and I mean it. I listened to the audiobook (thanks Libro.fm and the publisher for my ALC!), and the production was fantastic. I did enjoy having a print copy on hand as well, however, mostly to re-read the poems that separate each 40-year section. I sincerely hope this text is incorporated into classrooms, as the format and breadth of topics would prove very useful and valuable for high school or college students. Ijeoma Oluo's essay, though toward the beginning of the book, still stands out to me as one of my favorites of the collection.
