'If only it was always like this. If beauty was purely a power and not a target, a vulnerability that could draw the wolves and put you at their mercy.'

After buddy reading In My Dreams I Hold a Knife with my friend Kristi, we immediately chose The Last Housewife as our buddy read this month. We slacked off for a few months due to me being crazy and moving to a different state. But I am SO glad this was our pick as our buddy read comeback.

What an interesting and gripping read!! Holy sunscreen!!

From the beginning of the story, I knew that I was going to give this five stars. Even if I had read it on my kindle like I did IMDIHAK and not read it via audiobook, I knew I would still feel the same.

This novel made me so angry, but in a way where the author was doing her job. I wanted to slap the shit out of 98% of the men in this book.

Winstead is an auto read author for me when it comes to her thrillers. Even if you didn't enjoy IMDIHAK, I would say give this one a chance as it is different and honestly it is better. Though I love both of them, this one is top tier and I hope her next one is better than this one and so on and so on.
